You will be asked to put your skills to the test while we run you through a week of Minute to Win It challenges, The ‘Friendly’ Feud, and The ”Knowledge” is Right. We want to see if you have what it takes to win the grand prize of the week! So if you’re interested in spending your summer on the best Game Show around, this is the place for you. We double dare you!

No Camp Day: May 27th

Week 2: Artistic Creations! (May 28 – May 31)

Explore your range of creativity, as creativity runs wild here all summer long! Art Smart week is designed for kids to use their imaginations and creative thought process to connect with their academic skills. Campers will have the opportunity to express themselves through the type of art they love the best. We’ll have jewelry making, painting, tie-dying, and so much more to connect with Math, Science, Reading, and writing. Be the first one to display your talents with techniques never seen before. Who knows, maybe we’ll have the very next Picasso just waiting to be discovered!

Week 3: Backyard Bash! (June 3-June 7)

Friends, fun, and sun! —- That’s what children look forward to during the summer months! Bring your sunscreen and get ready for a week filled with activities that connect learning to outside fun! Enjoy the great outdoors as we partake in summertime classic games like tug-of-war, kickball, hopscotch, lawn games, nature crafts, picnics, recycling projects, s’mores, and a picnic bash at the end the week. Even more exciting, is that each of these activities is connected to learning!

Week 4: Show Your Camp Spirit (June 10-June 14)

Summer adventures are better with friends! Join us as we kick off our summer with a week filled with fun and excitement! Show us your Camp Spirit through goofy hats, crazy socks, minute to win it games, friendship circles, and wacky relays. Let’s challenge each other to learn and grow and show our camp spirit!

Week 5: Edible Engineering (June 17- June 21)

Learning is sweet with science that you can eat! Have some fun and play with your food while learning the science behind it. Edible Engineering combines physical science and food items to captivate even the most reluctant participant. From marshmallows to Pop Rocks, this is a tasty source for food experiments. The best part of the week is the icy truck will be making a visit, tour the truck and have a sweet treat. Chocolate, marshmallows, chewing gum, cotton candy… this week of candy chemistry will give you a serious sugar rush

Week 6: Destination Imagination (June 24- June 28)

Oh no! We’ve been shipwrecked! What will it take to survive a week of being shipwrecked at Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts & SkillSet You? Find out as we build our own boats, decode a pirate’s map, search for buried treasure, and participate in island relay races. We are turning this accidental destination into an exciting academic island adventure! At the end of the week, we will celebrate with a “Rescued” party!

Week 7: Black Panther Training (July 1-3)

In a country not so far away . . . the T’Challa is calling all interested in sharing the duties of the Black Panther to learn and fulfill their duty to Wakanda. Campers will begin the week as preparing to begin their Panther training. Throughout the week, they are challenged by daily Panther activities. Explore the science of living in Wakanda, create your own technology, and even a suit. Discover the power within you through teamwork, confidence building exercises, and decision-making games. Go Forward for Wakanda!

No Camp Days: July 4-5

Week 8: Fairy Tale STEM (July 8-July 12)

Adventure is out there! Our imagination is loaded with the newest STEM challenges inspired by classic fairy tales such as Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Rapunzel, and more! Embark on an imaginative adventure designing and engineering solutions to problems that occurred “once upon a time.” Watch how our challenges each day unfold, from introducing each story, preparing for the challenge, and finally…putting our STEM minds to the test!

Week 9: Crazy Concoctions (July 15-19)

Messy science experiences are the best kind! Our campers will get their hands dirty to create volcanic eruptions, homemade play dough, “oobleck,” 3D sand art, and more. Each day involves fun and crazy science projects and experiments. Campers will learn while they create crazy concoctions!
