FIRE SAFETY

Our team is well-versed in fire safety procedures, and equipped to handle any emergency with precision and care. This includes fire evacuation plans that are posted in every dance room, multiple fire extinguishers, and specific fire childcare safety training geared towards your child's safety.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

Our staff undergo thorough background checks to ensure they are qualified and trustworthy individuals who are dedicated to the safety and enjoyment of the campers. Additionally, all staff members are trained in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and how to operate an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). This ensures that in the event of any medical emergencies, our staff are well-prepared to provide immediate assistance.

WHY SAFETY MATTERS?

Our Mission

As stewards of your children's time and trust, we hold safety as our highest priority here. We understand that when you entrust us with your little ones, you're placing an immense amount of faith in our hands, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.

Safety isn't just a checkbox for us—it's a cornerstone of everything we do. From CPR-certified staff to meticulously maintained equipment, we've taken every measure to ensure that your child's experience with us is not only enriching but also secure.

But safety isn't just about protocols and procedures—it's about peace of mind. It's about knowing that when your child steps through our doors, they're entering a space where they can explore, learn, and grow without fear. It's about creating an environment where they can spread their wings and discover their passions, all while being gently guided and protected.

“We are grateful that they care about not just our childs safety but other children in the community ."

The Story of Courtney

At Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts, safety isn't just a priority – it's our commitment to every child and family who walks through our doors.

Have you ever wondered what would you do if your child unexpectedly suffered a medical emergency? This is a question that heartbreakingly the parents of Courtney Kemp know the answer to.

At the tender age of 10 Courtney Kemp unexpectedly passed due to an undiagnosed heart defect tragically in her mother's arms. After Courney's passing, the Kemps would go on to learn that this occurrence is more common than even their family physicians knew.

They went on a mission to inform parents, the community, and youth-serving organizations of the value of being prepared through their non-profit organization Socks for Courtney.

Through the years Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts has learned so much about the value of youth organizations being prepared to provide a safe environment for parents' most precious gift.

The Kemp family through Socks for Courtney emphasizes the importance of having not only staff that is certified in CPR but also uses Automated External Defibrillators ( AEDs) in youth activities.

We're deeply honored to share that, Rebecca Padgett School of Performing Arts has become the FIRST YOUTH ACTIVITY in the State of Georgia to have 100 % Staff CPR Certification and Onsite Pediatric AED.

Why does safety matter so much to us?

Because every child deserves to feel secure in their environment. Because every parent deserves peace of mind when they entrust their child to our care. Together, with the Kemp family we have made it our mission to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care, today, tomorrow, and always.
